Beachdown is a small and friendly site next to Challaborough Beach situated in the heart of the South Hams. The site is set in two and a half acres and consists of detached cedar wood chalets, each with its own car parking space along side.

Pets are most welcome for a small additional charge and with this in mind all of our chalets have small enclosed gardens. We do also have an on-site pet exercise area. All we ask is that dogs are kept on there leads around the chalets and there is no fouling on site (bins are provided for those little mistakes).

The sheltered horseshoe bay of Challaborough offers its own attractive beach, which has RNLI lifeguard patrols during the peak season and is itself situated next to Bigbury-on-Sea, with Kingsbridge some 8 miles to the east and Plymouth 17 miles to the west. From Easter to the end of October, a small village shop can be found in the bay itself, or just a 10 minute walk away in Bigbury-on-Sea, you will find a Post Office & Store open all year round.

You will find us open all year round either for those Stress Busting short breaks out of season or for your family’s main summer holiday.
